Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Studio Beck website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Handmade Nature of Our Pieces

All Studio Beck pieces are handmade ceramics created using traditional methods. Variations in form, size, surface texture, and glaze are inherent to the making process and are not considered faults. Images are representative only; each piece is unique.

Pre-Orders

Some Studio Beck pieces are available as pre-orders prior to arrival in Australia. All pieces in the Foundations collection have been handmade in Barcelona and are currently being prepared for shipment via sea freight.

Estimated arrival to Australia is May. This timeframe allows for sea freight and customs clearance and may be subject to minor delays outside of our control. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and accept this timeframe.

Limited Quantities & Availability

All Studio Beck pieces are produced in limited quantities. Once an item is sold out, restocks are not guaranteed.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

Shipping

Studio Beck currently ships within Australia only. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details.

Delivery timeframes are provided as a guide only. Studio Beck is not responsible for delays caused by shipping providers once an order has been dispatched.

Responsibility for goods transfers to the customer upon delivery.

Freight & Large Items

Selected Studio Beck pieces, including furniture, require custom freight delivery due to their size and weight.

Shipping costs for these items are not included at checkout and must be arranged separately. Customers are required to contact Studio Beck prior to purchase to obtain a shipping quote.

Orders placed without a confirmed shipping quote may be subject to additional shipping charges.

Delivery for freight items is coordinated with third-party carriers. Studio Beck is not responsible for delays, handling, or damages caused during freight transit once the item has been collected by the carrier.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available from our Mermaid Beach studio by appointment.

Once an order has been collected, responsibility for the item transfers to the customer. Studio Beck is not responsible for damage occurring after collection.

Pre-Dispatch Quality Assurance

All Foundations pieces are inspected upon arrival at our Mermaid Beach studio prior to dispatch to customers. This inspection forms part of our quality assurance process.

If a pre-ordered piece is found to be damaged during sea freight or inspection, the customer will be notified promptly. Where a replacement is available, the customer will be offered the option of a replacement or a full refund.

If a replacement is not available due to limited quantities or the item being sold out, a full refund will be issued.

Damages & Breakages After Dispatch

All Studio Beck pieces are carefully prepared and packaged to minimise the risk of damage during transit.

We recommend inspecting all items upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, you must contact Studio Beck within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, clear images of the damaged item, and images of the external packaging.

All damage claims are subject to assessment and must be approved by Studio Beck prior to any return or resolution.

Due to the limited nature of our collections, replacement pieces may not be available. Where a claim is approved, the item must be returned to Studio Beck before a refund or store credit is issued. Return shipping will be arranged by Studio Beck.

Once the returned item has been received and assessed, Studio Beck will offer either a refund or store credit. If the item is no longer available, a full refund will be issued.

Studio Beck is not responsible for damage reported outside of this timeframe.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handmade and limited nature of Studio Beck pieces, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

If you believe your item is faulty (excluding natural handmade variations), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Care & Use

Ceramic pieces should be handled with care. Studio Beck is not responsible for damage resulting from improper handling, misuse, or general wear and tear after delivery. Felt pads are recommended for ceramic furniture pieces.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Studio Beck website, including images, text, and product descriptions, is the property of Studio Beck and may not be reproduced without permission.
